Burnt Store Marina is the largest marina south of Tampa and home to over 500 boat slips for both sail and power boats of all sizes and dry dock storage for those without a wet slip. It is a gated community with a wide variety of housing available, a public golf course, a full-service restaurant, a general store and deli, and a host of community activities. Residents travel within the community on their bicycles, golf carts, walking, and of course by car. Beautiful sunsets, dolphin and manatee sightings are a daily event!
Even though it has a mailing address of Punta Gorda, this community is located just south of the county line separating Charlotte and Lee Counties. Access to the marina is via Burnt Store Road by car or via Charlotte Harbor by boat. Its location has made it a popular spot for boaters because it is convenient to the Gulf of Mexico and the Caloosahatchee and the Peace Rivers yet very protected by Charlotte Harbor.
Housing options within the marina range from condos to villas, to high rise luxury condos to single family waterfront homes to zero lot line homes. Most single family homes are on the golf course, only one is on navigable water and some are along the exterior perimeter of the grounds. Properties range in age from brand new construction to up to 30 years and prices are just as variable! There are fees associated with living in the within Burnt Store Marina and they vary depending upon which association manages the sub-community within which your property is located.
