Pirate Harbor is the southernmost gulf-access waterfront community in Charlotte County. It’s located on Burnt Store Road just north of Burnt Store Lakes. Most of the homes are situated on canals with quick, direct access to Charlotte Harbor. The fishing in and around Pirate Harbor is itself regarded by many as excellent and it is very convenient as a jumping off point for those wishing to fish the remote southern reaches of the Harbor
Given its size, Pirate Harbor is populated with a wide selection of architectural styles with Key West-style bungalows (some with private boat ramps) adjacent to the pillared entrance homes that have recently become popular (and also may have a private boat ramp). There are no deed restrictions within the community – this is considered to be either/both a huge positive and a huge negative by every resident of this community.
Property values vary so widely that we’re reluctant to provide any ranges whatsoever.
